  • Mrs. Asta, from Lithuania about SAKA:
It’s more than what I could expect. Well furnished, safe and clean vacation house, well equipped kitchen, extra area for kids. Friendly owners and staff. Excellent tee and coffee and croissants, and pastries. Amazing atmosphere. Will definitely stay there again (with the kids):)
  • Mrs. Daiga, from Latvia about SAKA:
Perfect place if you are traveling by car. If you are traveling without car, the apartments have access to information about taxi services.
Comfortable, clean rooms, provided with everything you need – towels, hair dryer and so on. We had a 2-bedroom apartments – each room had a TV, one for children and other one for their parents :)
Very cozy kitchen with Ikea perfect solutions for the kitchen as such. Excellent coffee and tea are given of the hosts for free. In the morning warm buns.
Our children enjoyed a special children’s room.
Apartment owner is discreet and polite, he gave information about the history of the city. He also gave a discount voucher for equipment rental of the Snow Arena. We felt very special and welcome.
Thank you very much, we really put a 10+!
  • Mrs. Lois, from Australia about SAKA:
This accommodation had some shared facilities..kitchen,dining spce and sitting television area set in a large garden fantastic as we met fellow travellers. Our host supplied fresh pastries each morning with a good coffee. He extended to us the pleasure of a visit to two out of town sculpture parks which we wanted to see a lovely experience as he explained in fluent English some of the history of this beautiful area relating to these parks. We should have stayed longer.
  • Mrs. Tereza, from Czech republic about SAKA:
Everything… The couple owning this accommodation is absoluty amazing – they are both very friendly as well as helpful. Moreover, they bring to the house fresh pastries every morning. I would like to also emphasise that the house itself is more than convenient as well as cosy. The equipment is definitely the best from all the places I have ever visited – everything is new, clean and smartly designed. The kitchen is perfect and there are various options where to sit, work, play, relax or read within the living room or the common room. There is also nice garden behind the house where you can enjoy yourself. All the rooms are linked with particular colour, legend and symbol. They are spacious, and also practically, nicely and fully equipped. You can just feel welcoming, relaxing and amazing atmosphere there…
  • Mr. Jorge, from Switzerland about SAKA:
Everything: the hosts, delicious breakfast, dining under apple trees, decor, playground & playroom for kids, kitchen & BBQ facilities, easiness finding the guest house, walking distance to all… Plenty to do in the area as well!
  • Mrs. Alice, from Canada about SAKA:
This lodging was excellent and the very best of which I have stayed in on this 3 month trip I am on.
  • Mrs. Paivi, from Finland about SAKA:
This was really nice place with kids. We had 2 rooms (smallest is 1year and I didn’t want to wake whole family if she is crying middle of night, which she did) but we would easily fit in only to a family room. We had opposite rooms which was very comfortable. In the basement is kids playroom where is a lot of toys, books (mostly in lithuanian) and Playstation. Our 7y and 5y boys were happily playing there hours. Kitchen and living room are really cosy. In the kitchen everything is organized by the room logo so you can storage your foods safely there. Morning time owner brought fresh muffins and croissants, Yammy! In the yard is place for a car and you can also find little playground back of the house.
  • It was a pleasure to stay at SAKÁ vacation house during our short holiday. The owner was very friendly and helpful, he let us enjoy our staying. This vacation house has very unique rooms, big and cozy dining area with a kitchen that has everything anyone can seek for. I would recomend this place for everyone who plans to visit Druskininkai and looks for a cozy and comfortable place to stay.

  • Mrs. Vanesa, from USA about SAKA:
    p. I found the SAKA house a wonderful combination of comfortable stay for families (bike rental available) and a general space for guests to mingle and enjoy a coffee or tea or the morning breakfast provided by the hosts. It has a warm feeling- looks like an Ikea catalog in it’s styling and perfect location among the neighborhood of Druskininkai and a short ride to the river banks and spa’s. Highly recommend for any family. We were a group of 3 and even in their smaller room- plenty of space and comforts of home. Appreciate the door security feature and the each room’s personalized story.

  • Mr. Indre, from Sweden about SAKA:
    p. We definitely loved the place! It felt like home – clean, simple and everything you could need was there. The owners were very friendly and helpful, which makes us want to come back to the same place.

  • Mr. David, from Sidcup (UK) about SAKA:
“A lovely, modern, clean hotel who’s owner was excellent in ensuring everything was ok, offering great advice on local activities. Also excellent location in quiet road, but very easy stroll into centre. Cannot recommend highly enough.”
  • Egle, from Riga (LV) about SAKA:
Truly exceptional stay – gives you a home feeling, rather than a hotel. Everything is comfortable and good value for money.”
  • Mrs. Bettina, from NIJMEGEN (NL) about SAKA:
“Probably the best stay during our entire vacation in the Baltic states! Modestas and his wife were very friendly and extremely helpful in showing us around, telling us what we could visit and making us feel welcome. Both speak perfect English, which (at least in our experience) can be rare in Lithuania. They even had some baked goods from a local French Bakery (worth a visit) for us, since we didn’t have any breakfast before we arrived at SAKÀ Vacation House. The rooms and common area are very nicely decorated, bright, spacious and clean. Each room is decorated according to a legend from the area and you can even go and visit the spot in town your room is connected to. The kitchen is very well equipped, including an excellent coffee machine. We also rented their bicycles on the first day, which was quite handy to go grocery shopping and explore the beautiful surroundings. We had a really really great stay at SAKÀ and would definitely recommend staying here!”
  • Mr.Георгий from Санкт-Петербург about SAKA:
“Wonderful vacation house with a lot of fine features for a reasonable price. Saka means legend – and every room in the house is connected with one of the city legends. And every room has its own unique style!”

    p. We liked the interior of the room and building very much – it’s light and cozy. The bed was really comfortable. You can use cafe-machine, grills in the the yard. There’s a free wifi. Also you can rent bikes (5 Lt for 1 hour). We liked that there was a bathtub in a room.”
