Story about the Švendubrės Stone
Long time ago there was a beautiful town in the same place where there are a green fields nowadays. In the middle of the town there was a church. All people in the town were good and righteous. They were visiting church and were thanking God for the beautiful life they had. Not far from the town a vicious and the angry Devil was living by the river Nemunas. He didn’t like that people were honoring God and nobody admired the Devil. Then Devil decided to punish people and destroy their church. One night he was running around the swamps and fields. He found the biggest stone and started carrying it towards the town. His deed was to smash the church with it, but he could not make it. The rooster crowed declaring the morning. The Devil got frightened, dropped the stone and hid himself in the swamps. But before he disappeared, he had kicked the stone so hard that you can still see the mark on it. That’s why it’s called the Devil’s Stone.

The symbol of the room is a STONE.
